Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Structa, an operating system for service businesses provided by Structa Technologies Inc. (“Structa”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Structa is currently offered as an early-stage (beta) product.
1. The service
Structa is a modular web application that lets a business enable the modules it needs (bookings, clients, payments, staff, and others) and give each employee a workspace built from those modules. The software itself is provided free of charge. Features powered by artificial intelligence consume credits, which are included with a paid plan or bought separately, as described in section 4. Features may change as the product evolves.
2. Your account & responsibilities
- You are responsible for your account, your credentials, and all activity under it.
- The person who creates a business is its owner and controls its settings, modules, employees, and billing. The owner is responsible for the accounts they create for their team.
- Keep your password secure and don’t share it. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and use the service for a lawful business.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Structa for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive;
- attempt to access other businesses’ data, probe, or interfere with the security or integrity of the service;
- resell, sublicense, or misrepresent the service without our permission;
- upload content or data you don’t have the right to use.
4. Payment & subscription
The Structa software — every module, every staff account — is provided free of charge. AI features (the assistant, the email receptionist, the phone line) consume AI credits. A business receives a one-time gift of credits at signup that does not expire; may buy credit packs, which do not expire; and may subscribe to a monthly credit allowance (“Pro”), which resets each month, carries over unused credits up to one month’s allowance, and includes a phone line. Subscriptions and packs are billed through our payment processor (Stripe); by subscribing you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel. Prices and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. When a business has no credits, AI features pause until it tops up or its allowance resets; nothing else is affected, and there is never an overage charge. For billing questions, email billing@structainc.com.
5. Cancellation
You can change or cancel a Pro subscription at any time from Manage business → Plan & billing. A change is prorated; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which the business continues on the free plan with any purchased credits intact. We don’t provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods. Closing the business (Manage business → Business details) cancels any subscription and locks the workspace, and you can undo it — closing deletes nothing. Access to the software is never paused for billing reasons.
6. Your data
The business data you enter is yours. You grant Structa the license needed to host and process it in order to provide the service. You can export all of it from inside the app at any time, free of charge, including after you close the business.
We do not delete your data on our own schedule. It stays until you ask us to erase it, which an owner can do from the screen a closed business shows. We then wait 30 days, email you the date, and let you call it off up to that moment; after it runs it is permanent and we cannot recover it. Erasure also removes the Structa sign-in accounts of everyone on the team, including yours.
After an erasure we keep only: billing and tax records we are required to retain; any correspondence you had with our support; an address on our do-not-email list, if you asked us to stop writing to you; and a minimal record that a business of that name existed and was erased on that date, which is what keeps those billing records attributable. See our Privacy Policy for details on the processors we use.
7. Beta & availability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” As an early-stage product it may have bugs, change, or be temporarily unavailable; we don’t guarantee a specific uptime and may modify or discontinue features. If we ever discontinue the service itself, we will give at least 60 days’ notice by email and keep exports available through that period. Keep your own copies of critical information where appropriate.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Structa is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
